20 January 2014 Nicole's Birthday

Wow!  What a sweet and beautiful girl you are.  We love your Mickey hat!  And Grandpa and Grandma can't wait to squeeze you!  Soon!  Happy Birthday to you!  Here's some fun facts about Nicole from her Mom, LeAnn.

It is hard to believe that Nicole is turning 11.  She is growing up way too fast.  This year has been a year of change for Nicole.  She tested and was accepting into the Accelerated Learning Lab and now attends school at Hidden Hollow with her dad and sister.  She loves seeing her dad, sister, cousins and some of our friends that moved into the Ranches at school.  She won her class spelling bee and will be competing in the school spelling bee on January 24th.  

Nicole started piano about 2 years ago and has passed up where I got to when I took piano.  She is finally starting to enjoy practicing and gave herself the challenge to finish the level 3 books before Christmas, which she did.  (She made her teacher do a lesson on Christmas Eve morning to help her accomplish  this.)  We are so proud of her for accomplishing that goal.

She usually has a book in her hand and is rarely reading one book at a time (I wonder where she gets that from).  She has also found that if she brings a flashlight to bed with her she can read under the covers so no one knows.  She enjoys playing games with her family and on the Ipad.  She loves the color purple and is excited to get her own room in the next week or so, all done in purple, of course.  Her favorite food is Hawaiian haystacks.
